PTA & Hospitality Involvement

As Hospitality Coordinator for our middle school's PTA, I plan and run the events that make Teacher Appreciation Week feel like more than a poster in the lounge. That means sourcing donations, designing the flyers, and setting up (and cleaning up) every bar below.

Apple Bar

A build-your-own caramel apple bar set up in the teacher's lounge during grade-level lunch periods, with a full lineup of dips and toppings: Reddi-wip, Jif to-go cups, Hershey's syrup, caramel drizzle, granola, cinnamon, sprinkles, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and M&Ms.

Nacho Bar

The second "Nacho Average Teacher" event: crockpot queso, chips, salsa, sour cream, and jalapeños served alongside a drink station in front of the Bowman step-and-repeat backdrop.

Dirty Soda Bar

A build-your-own dirty soda station for Teacher Appreciation Week: Coke, Diet Coke, Dr Pepper, and Sprite as a base, a full lineup of Torani syrups, and a choice of French vanilla, coconut, or half-and-half cream, all laid out on a custom menu I designed.
